I love making vintage aging hardly and extremely sometimes. I think that’s the point of mod watches like my KATABAMI watches. Real vintage watch is very fascinating BUT also very unreliable. Parts are aged so movement is aged as well. But KATABAMI is made from brand new parts so vintage feel with reliability.
But sometimes I make it vintage too much. So I made this natural vintage but still very characteristic. I choose more current style greyish black half-matte dial. With aged little pumpkin colour lumes looks well balanced. Because of I vintage aged metal parts of hands and indicators on dial.
And the fading of bezel is just outstanding. Seems just black on point but it’s black to purple faded vintage treated. This is real aging not printing. So I cannot make this colour again. Only one in the world.
Equipped with rivet bracelet and domed acrylic crystal made this NEO VINTAGE feel. Still vintage vibe but solid current model feel too.
